Headline CPI inflation firmed up to 4.38% YoY in Jun’26, up 45 bps signaling a steep jump from 3.93% in May’26, with the rise primarily driven by higher food prices and a sharp acceleration in transport and services inflation. Core CPI (ex food/ fuel) also increased by 36 bps to 4.20% in Jun’26.
