Research
ERTF has undertaken several sector-specific research studies including on Handloom Sector, SMEs, Water, Renewable Energy, Education and so on.
Discussions
From time to time, ERTF organizes brainstorming sessions and provides a platform for domain experts to channelize innovative ideas on topical issues of the economy. Recommendations that flow from these discussions are shared with policymakers.
Training Program
To foster skill development and knowledge dissemination, ERTF undertakes awareness, education and practical training programs / workshops for different sectors.
In recent years, given the growing importance of commodities, ERTF has also been focusing on commodity markets, apart from other sectors. It is recognized that commodities (energy, metals, agri) contribute to economic growth. India’s future growth trajectory is likely to be commodity-intensive and commodity-driven.
Towards this end, several training, education and awareness programs on commodity markets are organized from time to time in association with leading exchanges like BSE, MCX and NCDEX to promote price risk management through hedging.
ERTF conducts commodity market training and awareness programs on behalf of IMC which has been recognized by SEBI as a training institution for commodity derivatives.
ERTF intends to research and explore all kinds of risk management in trade, commerce, industry and agriculture for the benefit of various institutions and ecosystem stakeholders of our country.
